Trappist 1 is an open-world, sandbox universe under development by Pluck Games. It is set in the real-life solar system , located 40 light-years from Earth. We are carefully building the game to match both the astronomic science of the real solar system and the science behind interplanetary colonisation, terraforming and the many craftable items.
Core to the T1 experience is the visually spectacular solar system in which the game is based. The centre contains a red dwarf star, a little larger than Jupiter. There are multiple planets and moons to explore, and thousands of minable asteroids. The combined surface area of the land exceeds 3,500km2; the solar system itself has a volume of roughly 5 billion km3.
Players shape the economy, infrastructure, and governance of a new world. Unlike traditional MMOs, the game does not rely on combat mechanics but instead focuses on crafting, resource management, exploration, and player-driven decision-making. Players can also build and decorate a homestead and compete against friends in a variety of mini-games for prizes and bragging rights.
The economy is built around Tungsten Coin (TNG) as the core currency, ensuring a sustainable, player-driven economy where every trade, craft, and resource decision matters. Governance is facilitated through Senate Coin (SNC), allowing engaged players to influence world-building and policy decisions.
Our vision is to create an emergent, living economy, where player actions drive the evolution of the world, rather than scripted quests or NPC-driven progression.
Trappist 1 is free-to-play and requires no registration to try it out. Be part of the first wave of explorers; join our community today! Our playable teaser will be launched on 22 May 2025.
