Trappist 1 features Tungsten Coin (TNG) as the in-game currency, facilitating player-driven economic transactions. The game is free-to-play, with revenue generated through a 5% transaction fee on all in-game trades.
It's important to keep in mind that Trappist 1 is an MMO, and as far as normal game-play is concerned, Tungsten is just a typical currency. Players earn it by completing quests, gathering resources for the settlements, trading with other players and participating in various competitions.
Once a player has acquired a lot of Tungsten (through accumulation or purchase), a number of new options open up, such as withdrawing, staking or subscribing to certain bonus perks.
